Idolino
Discovered in 1530 in an excavation in Pesaro, it is a Roman copy of the Augustan age of a Greek original of the 5th century BC. Extremely elegant work, it was a source of inspiration for numerous sculptures during the sixteenth century. In Florence since 1631 with the inheritance of Vittoria della Rovere, it is kept in the National Archaeological Museum of Florence.
